At 1409 Emporium, your satisfaction matters to us. If you’re not completely happy with your purchase, we’re here to help.

Our return window lasts 14 days from the date your order is delivered. If more than 14 days have passed since delivery, we unfortunately can’t offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, unworn, and unwashed, with tags still attached
  • It must be returned in its original packaging
  • You must provide your order number or proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt)

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Underwear, swimwear, and other intimate or sanitary items (unless defective)
  • Earrings and other pierced jewelry (unless defective)
  • Gift cards
  • Items marked “Final Sale” or purchased during a clearance/flash sale
  • Items that show obvious signs of wear, alteration, or damage not caused by us

Partial Refunds

In some cases, only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Items with obvious signs of wear or use
  • Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing tags/parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Items returned more than 14 days after delivery

How to Start a Return

  • Email us at tommiealvarez1409@gmail.com with your order number, the item(s) you’d like to return, and the reason for the return.
  • We’ll confirm your eligibility and send you the return address and instructions.
  • Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it to the address provided.

Please do not send items back without first contacting us — unconfirmed returns may be delayed or refused.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll email you to confirm we’ve got it and let you know whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. Please note your bank or card provider may take a few additional days to reflect the credit.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund after 10 business days:

  • Check your bank account or card statement again.
  • Contact your card issuer or bank — processing times can vary on their end.
  • If you’ve done this and still haven’t received your refund, email us at tommiealvarez1409@gmail.com and we’ll look into it.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for a refund. Items purchased at a discounted or sale price are final sale and cannot be refunded, unless defective.

Exchanges

We only replace items that arrive defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product (e.g., a different size), email us at tommiealvarez1409@gmail.com with photos of the issue, and we’ll arrange the exchange.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at tommiealvarez1409@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the item received. We’ll arrange a free replacement or full refund — no return shipping cost to you in this case.

Gifts

If your item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive gift credit for the value of your return once we receive the item back.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, or the gift-giver had it shipped to themselves to give to you later, we’ll issue the refund to the original purchaser.

Return Shipping

You are responsible for your own shipping costs when returning an item, except in cases of our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect items received). Shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund where applicable.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for higher-value items, as we can’t guarantee we’ll receive your returned item.
